Richard Dunham

Richard Dunham is a distinguished Professor of Multimedia Journalism at Tsinghua University, serving as co-director of the Global Business Journalism program since September 2013. With an extensive background in journalism, Dunham held key positions such as Washington Bureau Chief for Hearst Newspapers and the Houston Chronicle, where responsibilities included coordinating political coverage. Previously, Dunham contributed to the National Press Club Journalism Institute and served on the Steering Committee of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. Throughout a prolific career spanning several decades, Dunham has been involved in mentoring young journalists and has written extensively about American politics and culture. Dunham holds both BA and MA degrees in History from the University of Pennsylvania.
