Tristan Melton

IT Support Technician at TSM

Tristan Melton has a diverse range of work experience in various fields. Tristan started their career as a Graduate Student at the Mesoscopic Optics and Quantum Electronics Laboratory at UCLA in 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Support Technician at TSM from 2017 onwards, where they provided technical support to eSports athletes, organizers, and management. Additionally, they were responsible for maintaining the technical infrastructure for sponsored interviews on Twitch.tv. Tristan also gained experience as an Intern at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 2020.

During their time as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the UCLA NanoCAD Laboratory from 2018 to 2019, Tristan took on multiple roles. Tristan led the design of a stochastic logic simulator for stochastic circuit simulation and implemented various neural net layers for testing the simulator's effectiveness. Tristan also worked on optimizing population count algorithms. Lastly, Tristan had an internship experience at Intel Corporation in 2019, where they performed analysis, wrote scripts for data analysis, assisted with data collection, and developed tools to automate certain processes in NAND product development.

Tristan Melton obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA. Tristan attended UCLA from 2016 to 2020, focusing on the field of Electrical Engineering.
