Lucas Tsai

Lucas Tsai currently serves as Vice President of Business Management at TSMC, where a successful tenure since September 2004 has included roles as Senior Director of Market Development and Emerging Business Management, and Director of Account Management. Key contributions at TSMC involve major contract negotiations with OEM system houses, substantial management of customer relationships, and development of business flows leading to significant revenue growth, including building a major OEM Server CPU business exceeding $100 million and a mobile OEM business in the billions. Prior experience at LSI Logic from September 1995 to September 2004 includes serving as Sr. ASIC Marketing Manager, where engagement with key foundry partners facilitated the development of Cu-based ASIC technology, as well as roles as Sr. Mixed Signal Designer and Sr. Process Development Engineer focused on developing 0.18um Process Technology. Lucas Tsai holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and both MS and BS degrees in Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
