Shan Gao currently serves as the Director of Advanced Packaging at TSMC, a position held since October 2022. Prior to this role, Shan was a Principal Member of Technical Staff at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from April 2012 and held the position of Technical Manager at the Institute of Microelectronics, A*STAR from November 2009 to March 2012. Shan's experience also includes a tenure as Senior Manager at Samsung from June 2006 to October 2009. Educational qualifications include a Dr.-Ing in Material Science and Mechanics from the Technical University of Munich, a B.Eng in Civil Engineering and Mechanics from Xi'an Jiaotong University, and an M.Eng in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
