Russ Turek

Russ Turek has worked in the safety and construction industry since 2010. Russ has held roles such as Construction Field Safety Manager at Hayes Field Services, Chief Inspector, Construction Safety Manager, and Coating Inspector, as well as Safety & Coating Manager at Apex Midstream Inspection, and Construction EHS Specialist at SafetyPro Resources. In 2020, they were a Field Site Sr Safety Manager, Permit Writer, Pre-Task Plan Coach, OSHA Auditor, and Root Cause Analysis for SafetyPro Resources. In 2022, they are currently a Construction Safety Manager at TSR Consulting Services, Inc. During their work experience, they have managed safety compliance of 350+ workers, 6 subcontractors simultaneously constructing a Data Center, performed equipment inspection audits, pre-task plan reviews, approved hot work permits, simplified toolbox talks, and introduced the 'Ladders Last' policy to an owner after an incident.

Russ Turek holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Russ has also obtained several certifications, including OSHA 510 from The University of Texas at Arlington in February 2022, OSHA 30-Construction Safety & Health from The University of Texas at Arlington in March 2021, OSHA 10 from OSHA Safety Training Institute in June 2016, OSHA 500 from UC San Diego in February 2022, TWIC from the US Federal Government in August 2014, Tank Entry Supervisor-TES from API in July 2014, and NACE ll-Certified Coating Inspector from NACE International, The Corrosion Society in November 2013.
