Prasad Dhopavkar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Prasad started their career as a Design Engineer at Family Plastics Pvt Ltd, where they were primarily responsible for part modeling, tooling feasibility checks, and CNC milling machine programming. Prasad then moved on to Evergreen Engineering Pvt. Ltd., where they served as Senior Assistant to the Technical Director and led a team of design engineers in the CNC department. Prasad'srole involved studying new parts/designs from customers.

Afterward, Prasad joined Mahindra Engineering as a Team Lead, overseeing a team of three design engineers. Prasad'sresponsibilities included preparing design proposals for plastic trim parts, designing sheet metal brackets for wiring harnesses, and packaging and routing of IP wiring harnesses. Prasad then joined Geometric Americas Inc. as a Team Lead, where they focused on designing pillar trims and door trims, 3D design and layout creation, CAD data making for trim parts, and interface studies with cross-functional teams.

Most recently, Prasad has been working at ALTEN Cresttek, where they held the position of Project Lead for six years. Prasad'skey responsibilities included leading projects, managing teams, and ensuring successful project delivery. Prasad is currently employed as an Assistant Chief Engineer at TS Tech Americas, Inc., where they apply their extensive engineering expertise.

Prasad Dhopavkar completed their Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic between 1991 and 1994. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Tool Engineering from Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic between 1995 and 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Prasad has obtained several certifications. In February 2022, they completed a Basic training course on CETOL 6 Sigma from Sigmetrix. Furthermore, in March 2020, they acquired certifications in Recruiting Foundations, Talent Sourcing, and Technical Recruiting from LinkedIn.
