Shizuka Matsunaga

Shizuka Matsunaga is an experienced translator and administrator with a strong background in translation management and language services. Since July 2008, Shizuka has served as the Administrator (Translator) at TS Tech Americas, leading the Translation & Interpreting group and managing terminology, translation memory, and various translation projects for the R&D division. In addition to this role, Shizuka has worked as a freelance translator since 2008, providing services across multiple fields, including engineering, legal, and commercial translation, with expertise in the Japanese<>English language pair. Prior experience includes a position as a translator/interpreter at Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia in 2007. Shizuka holds a Master of Arts in Translation Studies from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Bowling Green State University.
