David Furnish

David Furnish is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the design and management of electrical systems, particularly in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as Chief Design Engineer, Electrical at TT Electronics plc since May 2011, David has developed magnetic components and converters for aerospace applications, including phase-shifted autotransformer/rectifier units used in aircraft for major manufacturers like Airbus and Boeing. Prior positions include Chief Engineer/Manager at RFI Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed the design of high power pulse equipment, and Chief Engineer at Quality Transformer and Electronics, overseeing engineering and quality assurance for transformer manufacturing. David's early career included roles as Design Engineer at Espey Mfg & Electronics Corp., where high-power transformers were designed for defense applications, and various engineering and management roles in previous companies focused on custom magnetics and power systems since 1978.
