Rick Heckel Pe, D.ge

Rick Heckel, PE, D.GE has extensive work experience in the field of geotechnical engineering. Rick currently holds the position of Chief Geotechnical Engineer at TTL, Inc. which they started in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Geotechnical Engineer at GeoEngineers from January 2020 to November 2022. Before that, they were a Principal at Ardent Geotechnical Consultants from April 2014 to January 2020. From June 2008 to April 2014, they served as the COO at TTL, Inc.

Rick also has experience in executive roles. Rick was the President/CEO of QORE Property Sciences from April 2005 to April 2008 and worked as a Branch Manager at the same company from June 1997 to April 2005.

Their early career involved working as a Principal Engineer at Law Engineering from December 1991 to June 1997 and as a Senior Engineer at the same company from June 1990 to December 1991. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Ground Engineering and Testing Service from June 1989 to June 1990. Rick started their career as an Engineer at Louisville Gas & Electric from April 1984 to March 1985.

Throughout their career, Rick Heckel has gained experience and expertise in geotechnical engineering, assuming various roles of increasing responsibility.

Rick Heckel, PE, D.GE has a strong education background in civil engineering. Rick earned their Bachelor of Science in Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisville, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil Engineering, completing their studies in 1983.
