After graduating from Boğaziçi University, Department of Business Administration in 1996, İsmail Tüm started his professional career in Çuhadaroğlu Holding Moscow office, and worked as Sales and Business Development Manager in ENKA Group Foreign Trade Department in Moscow between 1997-2000. After joining the Nestle Turkey team in 2000, respectively; He worked as CPW Turkey Country Manager, Central Asian Region (Turkic Republics) Marketing Director in Uzbekistan and National Chain Stores Turkey Sales Manager. In 2011, he led global sales projects at Nestle's headquarters in Switzerland, first as the Business Excellence Manager in the Global Sales and Customer Management unit, and then as the Marketing Manager in the NESCAFE Strategic Business Unit. He joined Turkcell in January 2016 as the “Retail Sales Group President” and Member of the Executive Board in charge of Retail Sales. From July 2016 to January 2019, he served as the Deputy General Manager (CMO) in Charge of Marketing and a member of the Executive Board.
He completed the “New Horizons” program at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in 2017 and the “Innovative Marketing for Strategic Advantage” program at Stanford University in 2018.
He joined Türk Telekom family in January 2020 as Assistant General Manager of Commercial Operations at Türk Telekom International.
İsmail Tüm has been serving as the Executive Vice President of Retail Sales since May 2020.
