Selim Dursun

Selim Dursun was born in 1957 in Istanbul. He graduated from Istanbul Yıldız Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department in 1980. Between 1980-2002, he worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the private sector and worked as a manager. Between 2003-2005, he worked as the Advisor to the Minister of the Ministry of Transport, between 2005-2011, the Ministry of Transport, the Private Secretary, between 2011-2012, the General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors of TÜDEMSAŞ, and between 2012-2015, he served as the Ministry Consultant of the Ministry of Transport. He was elected as the 25th and 26th Term Sivas Deputy of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. In the same period, he assumed the duty of the Presidency of the Peru Friendship Group in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. He held various social duties as President, Manager and Member in Non-Governmental Organizations. He was a Member of the Board of Taekwondo Federation between 2004-2007, the Chairman of the Transport Sports Club Association between 2006-2015, and the Chairman of Sivas Demirspor Club between 2011-2012. He has been working as the Deputy Minister of TR Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure since July 2018. He is married and has 4 children.
