Mariya Dimitrova

Mariya Dimitrova is a sustainability professional with a strong background in policy analysis and strategy development. Currently serving as a Sourcing Sustainability Specialist at MacGregor, Mariya previously worked as a Sustainability Analyst at SGNL Solutions, where involvement in a collaborative project with YouTube and the Rockefeller Foundation led to the creation of a sustainability communication strategy. Prior experience includes a Policy Analyst role at BryceTech, focusing on sustainability policy for the US Department of Health and Human Services, and serving as a Sustainability Analyst and Rapporteur for The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, where a novel analytical tool for sustainability strategies was published and awarded the Gothenburg 2022 Sustainability Award. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health with a focus on Sustainability and Equity from the University of Gothenburg and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Sociology from St. Lawrence University.
