Michael Matthies is currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Technical University of Munich since October 2023, following a similar role at Arizona State University from February 2020 to September 2023. Prior to these positions, Matthies was a Visiting Researcher at Arizona State University for a brief period in 2019 and completed a PhD at the cfaed - Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden, where work focused on DNA origami designs and structural DNA software development. Matthies also held roles as a Master Thesis Student at cfaed, WHK at B CUBE, Python Developer at Scionics Computer Innovation, Ruby Developer at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, and TSQL Developer at Intel Biz. Matthies holds a Master's Degree in Molecular Bioengineering from Technische Universität Dresden and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the International University of Nature, Society and Man "Dubna."
