Tobias Vöpel

Tobias Vöpel is a Co-Founder and Co-CEO at NutriSen, actively involved since April 2023. Simultaneously, Vöpel serves as Project Coordinator for EIC LiveSen-MAP and Project Manager in the scientific sector at Technische Universität München. Prior experience includes serving as a Scientific Project Manager for the LiveSen and EXIST Forschungstransfer projects at Ruhr-Universität Bochum from February 2017 to March 2023, where responsibilities encompassed organizing and supervising research in biosensing, as well as grant and publication preparation. Vöpel's academic background includes a Postdoctoral position at Ruhr-Universität Bochum from November 2013 to October 2016 and a Research Associate role at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from September 2010 to August 2012, focusing on computational design and protein variant development. Vöpel holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a degree in Biochemistry from Ruhr University Bochum, completed in 2010 and 2006, respectively.
