Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District
Ashley Hartmeier-Prigg was born and raised in Washington County. She and her siblings grew up taking classes at the Cedar Hills and Garden Home Recreation Centers, experiencing and learning dance, taekwondo, art and cooking. Now, she spends nearly every Saturday morning walking the trails at the Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex with her fellow race walkers and hiking trails with her husband, Brady, and their three rescued terriers.
Ashley believes in the importance of recreation as an integral part of a thriving community and values the role of THPRD to help community members live active, healthy lifestyles. She is committed to seeing that taxpayer dollars are invested responsibly and equitably.
Ashley holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Portland, and a doctor of jurisprudence from Willamette University College of Law. When not enjoying our parks and trails, Ashley works at Nike, and previously volunteered with local nonprofits to help improve conditions for dogs living on chains and helping others find their forever homes.
