LEAD Design Engineer Track at TUC RAIL

Farid Farid is an experienced engineer specializing in track design and railway projects, currently serving as the Lead Design Engineer at TUC RAIL since July 2018, after previously holding the position of Senior Design Engineer. Prior to TUC RAIL, Farid worked for GTE - Global Topography and Engineering from 1997 to 2018 as a design engineer and trainer in railway alignment across multiple countries including Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, France, Belgium, the UK, the Czech Republic, West Africa, the Middle East, South Korea, and China. From 1989 to 1997, Farid was the Chief Project Engineer and Head of the Railway Development Division for SETIRAIL (formerly EIF) at the Société Nationale du Transport Ferroviaire in Algeria, where assistance and training were provided by RITES from India. Farid holds an engineering degree in civil engineering from the Université des Sciences et des Technologies, earned between 1984 and 1989.
