Hayley Speisman

Hayley Speisman is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in special education and literacy within diverse school settings. Currently serving as a 5th Grade Special Education Teacher at Tuckahoe Union Free School District since August 2023, Hayley previously worked at The IDEAL School of Manhattan in various roles, including Lower School Literacy Specialist and 5th Grade Special Education Teacher, from August 2016 to August 2023. Earlier experience includes positions as an ICT teacher at Exceed Charter School and volunteering at the Bereavement Center of Westchester, where support was provided to grieving children. Hayley holds an Advanced Certification as a Literacy Specialist from Pace University and a Master's degree in Intellectual Disabilities and Autism from Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Skidmore College.
