Zachary Kaplan

Zachary Kaplan is an Associate Attorney at Tucker Ellis LLP since May 2023, previously serving as a Law Clerk and Summer Associate. Prior experience includes working as a Detention Officer for the United States Marshals Service from February 2020 to October 2023, where responsibilities included processing and booking individuals arrested for federal crimes while collaborating with federal law enforcement and judges. Prior to this, Kaplan served as a Probation Officer at Stark County Adult Probation, supervising adults convicted of felony offenses, and as a Pre-Trial Supervision Officer at Stark County Pre-Trial and Pre-Sentence Services, where assessments were conducted to assist judges in pre-trial release decisions. Kaplan is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law (JD) at the University of Akron School of Law, set to graduate in 2024, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of Mount Union awarded in 2018.
