Robert Somppi is currently employed as a CAD and Design Technician at Tucker Mechanical, Inc. Previously, Robert held positions such as BIM Manager / Mechanical Designer at Acorn Consulting Engineers, CAD Manager at ACT Associates, and CAD Tech at RZ Design Associates, Inc. Prior to that, Robert worked as a SR Mechanical Designer at van Zelm Heywood & Shadford, Inc. where Robert started as an entry level AutoCAD drafter and progressed to designing ductwork with little direction. Robert's experience also includes working as a CAD Drafter at Aqua Pool & Patio, where Robert was responsible for generating design drawings of inground pools and patios. Robert graduated from Porter and Chester Institute in 1998.
