Clay Hollis has held various roles in different companies, showcasing a diverse work experience. Clay began their career as a Travel Aide for Adam Putnam for Commissioner of Agriculture in 2010. Moving forward, they worked as an Intern at the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and later at Rep. Eric Cantor's office in 2011. Clay then transitioned to roles at Rep. Tom Rooney's office from 2012 to 2017, starting as a Staff Assistant and eventually becoming a Senior Legislative Assistant. Subsequently, they served as the Director Of External Affairs at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services before becoming Chief Of Staff at Port Tampa Bay in 2019. Most recently, they have been working as Vice President at Tucker/Hall since 2023.

Clay Hollis attended Southern Methodist University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Policy.
