Leslie Franzblau is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in literacy instruction and teacher development. Currently serving as a Reading Specialist at Roberts-Naylor K-8 School since October 2023, Leslie also operates as an Instructional Coach for Tucson Unified School District, supporting middle school faculty in literacy challenges. Previous roles include Professional Development Academic Trainer and Curriculum Designer, where Leslie focused on culturally responsive and interdisciplinary strategies for middle school educators. A former high school English teacher, Leslie has designed and implemented AP courses and has a strong background in curriculum design and multicultural education. Additionally, experience as an Education Program Coordinator at Mirasol Eating Disorder Recovery Centers involved academic advocacy for teen residents, while earlier roles included therapeutic work with at-risk youth. Leslie holds a Master's degree in Psychology and a certification in Secondary Education from the University of Arizona.
