Michael Harries

Michael Harries is a seasoned expert in artificial intelligence, robotics, and machine learning with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, Harries serves as a Partner at The Robotics Hub, a venture capital firm focused on advancing augmented intelligence and robotics, and as a Mentor/Associate at the Creative Destruction Lab, where engagement involves guiding companies in Quantum and AI sectors. Previous roles include serving as CTO at Kyndi after an investment at Citrix Startup Accelerator, where Harries also played a pivotal role as Chief Technologist, establishing the Citrix Startup Accelerator and overseeing technology strategy. Harries' entrepreneurial journey began with founding ImpSys and extends to extensive academic involvement as a researcher and lecturer, culminating in a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from UNSW and a B.Ec in Economics from the University of Sydney.
