Kisun Peters

Kisun Peters received his master’s in science from Johns Hopkins University and is pursuing a master’s in business association from the University of Pittsburgh.

Kisun began at the Tuerk House in 2019 as an Intake Specialist and, from 2019 to 2022, was influential in developing Tuerk House’s Research & Development, Data, and supply chain departments. In 2022, Kisun became the Director of Business Development and Project Management.

Outside of his day-to-day at Tuerk House, Kisun advocates for health equity and works to provide health care to at-risk populations. In 2022, he started Rooted Healthcare, a healthcare organization that partners with shelters, faith-based organizations, and food pantries in metropolitan areas to provide somatic and mental health care to homeless and disadvantaged populations.

Kisun enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and running with his dogs in his free time.
