Drew Smith

Drew Smith is an experienced media professional with a robust background in journalism and brand management. Currently serving as the Social Media and Brand Reputation Manager at Tufts Medicine since April 2021, Drew previously held roles as a Social Media Senior Specialist within the same organization. Prior to this, Drew worked as a Reporter at NBCUniversal, Inc. from March 2015 to April 2021 and at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. from March 2013 to March 2015, as well as at WBTW News 13 from May 2011 to March 2013 in the capacity of Reporter/Digital Journalist. Additional experience includes serving as a Freelance Producer at WFMY News 2, News Director at Phoenix14News at Elon Student Television, and an intern at NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and New England Cable News. Drew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Elon University, completed in 2011.
