Edward Gallegos

Edward Gallegos, BSN, RN, currently serves as the Executive Director of the Department of Medicine at Tufts Medical Center, overseeing the strategic, financial, and operational performance of the largest academic department in the system. With extensive experience in healthcare leadership, Gallegos previously held roles such as Executive Director of Population Health & Contract Performance and Director of Projects Administration at Tufts, where strategic planning and innovative care models significantly improved operational efficiency and quality outcomes. Prior experience includes directing multiple addiction treatment clinics at Column Health and leading the launch of addiction therapy programs at Triple Canopy Advisors. Edward Gallegos started as a Senior Financial Analyst at Prudential Financial, providing insights for strategic decision-making. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Family Practice Nursing, Gallegos holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from The Ohio State University and an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing from Bunker Hill Community College.
