Dano Weisbord

Dano Weisbord serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer and Executive Director of Campus Planning at Tufts University since October 2022, after a tenure as Associate Vice President for Campus Planning and Sustainability at Smith College from May 2014 to October 2022. Weisbord has extensive experience in sustainability and organizational governance, evidenced by roles such as Special Advisor at Morrow Sodali and positions within ActionAid, where organizational sustainability functions were established across 45 countries. Prior experience includes leading sustainability initiatives and planning at Smith College, Conservation Law Foundation, and overseeing major projects such as a $210M district energy master plan and a multi-institution solar project. Weisbord holds a Master’s degree from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design.
