Erik Patton

Erik Patton is a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Manager at Tufts University since October 2006, overseeing a team of system engineers focused on system design, provisioning, management, and monitoring following SRE best practices. Prior experience includes serving as a System Administrator at Harvard University from 2005 to 2006, where responsibilities included server provisioning and LDAP server tuning, and at PDI/Dreamworks from 2001 to 2006, managing SGI IRIX and Red Hat Linux environments as well as supporting a large render farm. Erik Patton is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Oregon State University, having previously earned a Master of Arts in Geography from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Kansas State University.
