Jennifer Stephan, PhD, serves as the Dean of Academic Advising and Undergraduate Studies at Tufts University's School of Engineering since June 2016, overseeing seventeen undergraduate engineering degrees and representing the school on strategic academic committees. Previously, Jennifer held roles as Senior Associate Dean and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Advising at Tufts, significantly increasing study abroad participation and providing comprehensive support to students throughout their academic journeys. As the founder and owner of Lantern College Counseling, LLC, Jennifer offers expert college admissions services, particularly in the STEM fields. Prior experience includes serving as Class Dean and Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Wellesley College, where Jennifer was recognized for exceptional teaching and increased departmental enrollments. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
