Mary R. Jeka

Mary Jeka is an experienced legal professional with a robust background in higher education and legislative affairs. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Tufts University since May 2003, Mary Jeka has been instrumental in providing legal guidance within the academic environment. Prior to this role, Mary Jeka worked as General Counsel and Legislative Aide for Senator Edward M. Kennedy from 1985 to 1992. Academically, Mary Jeka earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Boston College Law School between 1980 and 1983 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Boston College, completed in 1976.
