Nancy Marks is a co-founder of The Opioid Project: Changing Perceptions through Art and Storytelling and serves as an artist and public health activist workshop facilitator at Swing Dog Arts. With extensive experience in combining art and public health, Nancy supports individual healing and community advocacy. As a mixed media artist and writer, Nancy has worked with individual clients and groups. In the educational context, Nancy coordinates Public Health and Community Service Learning at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and teaches art to seniors using creative aging techniques. Previous roles include director positions at various health organizations and experience as an artist with a dedicated online platform. Nancy holds a B.A. from Hampshire College, an MS in Labor Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University.
