Shalini Tendulkar

Associate Teaching Professor at Tufts University

Shalini Tendulkar serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Community Health at Tufts University since August 2014, with previous roles at the institution as a Lecturer. Currently, Shalini holds the position of Board Member and President at Newton Neighbors, Inc., starting in March 2021. Shalini's extensive experience includes roles as a Research and Evaluation Scientist and Research Associate at the Institute for Community Health at the Cambridge Health Alliance from February 2008 to August 2017, focusing on community participatory research projects in diverse health areas. Shalini has also contributed as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and has served as Adjunct Faculty at Simmons College School of Social Work and Boston University School of Public Health, teaching various courses related to social work and health disparities. Earlier in Shalini's career, project management and advocacy roles were undertaken at Inflexxion and the Center for an Urban Future. Shalini holds an ScD and ScM in Maternal and Child Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, along with a BA in Psychobiology/English from Wellesley College.
