Barbara Rauch

Barbara Rauch has extensive experience in digital workplace engineering, project management, and IT consultancy. Since February 2015, Barbara has been a Senior Digital Workplace Engineer at TUI, focusing on the management of collaboration tools such as Jira, JSM, and Confluence to enhance colleague experience. Previous roles at TUI include Technology Team Lead, Product Owner, and Service Architect, with significant contributions to the New Skies reservation system as a Business Analyst. Prior to TUI, Barbara worked at H&D Training and Consulting as an IT Consultant and Project Manager, and began a career in research at Saarland University, culminating in a PhD in Automatic Speech Recognition. Barbara also has a background in software engineering at Axylog and has taught languages in Spain. Academic qualifications include advanced degrees in Computer Science, Computer Speech, and Japanese studies from prestigious institutions including the University of Cambridge and Ritsumeikan University.
