Dr. Christiane Klarmann is an experienced professional in customer insights and retention within the tourism sector, currently serving as the Head of Customer Insights, Experience & Retention at TUI since July 2015. Dr. Klarmann has held various leadership roles at TUI, focusing on customer retention and strategic reporting. Prior to TUI, Dr. Klarmann worked as a Project Manager at icon added value GmbH, specializing in strategic marketing consultancy, and as a Scientific Research Assistant at Leibniz Universität Hannover, where the focus was on marketing and management. Early career experiences include internships at Beiersdorf in product management and Volkswagen AG in strategic marketing. Dr. Klarmann earned a Doctorate in Economics from Leibniz Universität Hannover, as well as a Diplom in Economics and Business Administration from the same institution, supplemented by a study abroad experience at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
