Toby Horry has had a diverse and successful career in the marketing and advertising industry. Toby started as a Production Manager at Paul Weiland Film Company in 2000 before moving on to AMV BBDO as a Board Account Planner. In 2006, they became the Managing Director at Dare, where they led successful pitches for various clients. In 2015, Toby joined Tesco PLC as the Digital Marketing Director, where they focused on making digital an integral part of the marketing function. Toby then became the Customer Propositions Director at Tesco before joining TUI in 2018 as the UK Brand and Content Director. In 2020, their role at TUI expanded to Global Brand and Content Director, overseeing brand strategy and advertising across all markets. Toby's achievements include launching a new global advertising platform and winning several marketing awards.
Toby Horry obtained a Private Pilot's Licence from CAA in 1993. In terms of formal education, they attended the University of Nottingham from 1995 to 1998 and earned a 2:1 degree in History. Toby also completed a Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson in 2018. Furthermore, Toby attended various marketing programs, including The Marketing Leadership Masterclass, TV Masters from Thinkbox, the Institute for Real Growth's IRG 100 Leadership Program, and The Marketing Academy Fellowship in 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024 respectively.
