Wietse Sennema

Wietse Sennema is an experienced professional with a diverse background in operations, project management, and community development. Currently serving as the Head of International Operations at Cane Cult, Wietse is focused on expanding a Japandi furniture design and manufacturing company in Sri Lanka. Additionally, Wietse co-founded tuktukrental.com, overseeing partnerships and public relations while also managing the TukTuk Tournament, a unique event promoting experiential travel in Sri Lanka. As the owner of The Pepper Cottage, Wietse has transformed a rural family house into a community-driven tourism experience. Wietse also serves as a consultant for the PALM Foundation, aiding in its professional transition. Previous experience includes co-founding the pop-up restaurant A La Plancha 2.0, managing the Deventer Stadsfestival, and founding the organization 9.23, specializing in music events. Wietse holds a degree in Facility Management from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
