Edson Cabalfin

Edson Cabalfin is an accomplished academic and design professional with extensive experience in architecture and higher education. Currently serving as the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs at Tulane University, Edson oversees faculty-related activities and leads programs in Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship as a tenured Associate Professor. Previous roles include coordinating the Interior Design Program at the University of Cincinnati and contributing to multidisciplinary design consultancies. Edson has curated significant exhibitions, including the Philippine Pavilion at the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale, and possesses a robust educational background with degrees from esteemed institutions such as Cornell University and the University of the Philippines. With a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, Edson actively mentors BIPOC students and facilitates initiatives that enhance social innovation in design.
