James Brad McConville

James Brad McConville is a highly experienced forensic psychiatrist and assistant professor specializing in psychiatry, internal medicine, and forensic psychiatry at Tulane University since July 2010. In addition to academic roles, McConville has served as a staff psychiatrist with the Tulane NFL Neurological Care Program since October 2012 and at St. Charles Parish Hospital since September 2007. Other notable positions include consult liaison psychiatrist at Tulane University Medical Center since July 2011, forensic psychiatrist at the Forensic Aftercare Clinic from January 2014 to April 2018, and involvement with the Mobile Crisis Team from January 2014 to December 2015. McConville began training at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, earning a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from 2001 to 2005, and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Boston College from 1994 to 1998.
