Jeanette R. Weiland

Jeanette R. Weiland serves as the Chief Business Officer at Tulane University, overseeing a $100 million annual budget and managing the school’s business operations, including finance, HR, and marketing, to support the School of Science & Engineering's educational and research missions. Additionally, Jeanette has experience as the Investment Director of Tulane Venture Funds and is a children's book author, with works such as "Beignets for Breakfast" and "Red Beans & Rice." Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Bio, Innovation, & Special Projects at the New Orleans Business Alliance and various financial positions at Ochsner Health, CIC Wealth, and UBS Wealth Management. Jeanette holds a Bachelor of Science in International Trade and Finance from Louisiana State University, and both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from the University of New Orleans.
