Shelby Norman

Shelby Norman, M.A., currently serves as the Associate Director of Professional Development & Outreach at Tulane University, where responsibilities include developing EDI professional development initiatives and fostering partnerships across university departments. Previously, at Arkansas Tech University, Shelby worked as the Coordinator of Multicultural Support, focusing on inclusive excellence initiatives and student engagement for underrepresented populations. Additional experience includes roles at The University of Alabama as both a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant, as well as administrative and legislative support roles, including a Congressional Internship. Shelby holds a Master's Degree in Women's Studies with a concentration in Gender and Race, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Alabama.
