Xiaoyan Wang

Xiaoyan Wang is a Research Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Tulane University since March 2024. Currently serving as Chief Scientist and Senior Vice President at Intelligent Medical Objects since October 2022, Xiaoyan Wang focuses on AI innovations that enhance healthcare outcomes. Previously, as Chief Scientific Officer at Melax Tech (now part of IMO) from October 2022 to May 2023, and as Vice President of Healthcare Analytics, Informatics, and Biopharma Research at Sema4 from November 2019 to October 2022, contributions included leading NLP development and clinical research across multiple therapeutic areas. From June 2010 to November 2019, Xiaoyan Wang worked at The University of Connecticut Health Center as Faculty and Principal Investigator, integrating informatics with translational research and medical informatics education. Xiaoyan Wang holds a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Columbia University.
