Joy Soares

Joy Soares is an experienced professional in education and leadership, currently serving as a Systems Strategist at ARCHES since January 2022, where the focus is on designing regional systems for student readiness. With a long tenure at the Tulare County Office of Education, starting in December 2012, Joy holds the position of Director for the Tulare Kings College and Career Collaborative, having also worked as the Linked Learning Consortium Director and a certified trainer in project-based learning and coaching. Joy's background includes a role as a Technical Assistance Provider for the California Department of Education and an administrator at Kings River Union School District, contributing to notable gains in student achievement. Additionally, Joy has a diverse teaching history across K-12 and post-secondary institutions. Earlier career experience includes serving as Vice President of Marketing for Ruiz Food Product, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Brandman University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California State University-Sacramento.
