Bryan Cronin

Bryan Cronin is an experienced geologist currently serving as Principal Geologist at Tullow Oil since May 2019. Prior to that, Bryan held the position of Geology Functional Manager at TULLOW GHANA LIMITED, overseeing geological contributions to offshore models in Ghana. Bryan's background includes a decade as Managing Director and Principal Geologist at Deep-Marine Limited, providing consultancy and educational services in petroleum geology. Academic roles include Professor of Petroleum Geology at the University of Aberdeen, where Bryan led significant research projects and supervised PhD students, and Honorary Professor at Robert Gordon University, delivering coursework internationally. Bryan holds a PhD in Petroleum Geology from Cardiff University, an MSc from University College Dublin, and a BSc in Geology from University College Cork.
