Jeff Smith

Jeff Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jeff is currently serving as the Head of Technology, Architecture & Strategy at Tullow Oil, an independent oil and gas exploration company. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Digital Architecture, Data and Software Engineering at Lloyd's Register, a global professional services company specializing in engineering and technology for the maritime industry. Jeff also served as the Group Head of Enterprise Architecture & Chief Architect at PREMIER OIL PLC (now Harbour Energy), where they established and governed the enterprise technology architecture. Additionally, they worked as the Group Chief Technology Officer at Torus Insurance, where they played a crucial role in architecting the systems and infrastructure to support the company's global operations. Jeff's previous experience also includes positions such as Head of Enterprise Architecture at Capital Group | American Funds and Senior Principal Architect at Diamond Management & Technology Consultants. Jeff began their career as an Architect/Senior Analyst Programmer at NatWest Markets and later joined Credit Suisse Asset Management as an Internet Services Architect and Manager, where they were responsible for designing and implementing a global corporate intranet.

Jeff Smith earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Greenwich, which they attended from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they attended Dover Grammar School For Boys from 1983 to 1990. Jeff also obtained a certification in TOGAF 9 from The Open Group in 2011.
