Larissa McNeil

Larissa McNeil, M.S, currently serves as the African-American Resource Center Coordinator at the Tulsa City-County Library, a position held since August 2021. Previously, Larissa worked as an 8th Grade English/Language Arts and Humanities Teacher at Tulsa Legacy Charter School from July 2017 to May 2021, and was a Corps Member with Teach For America from June 2017 to May 2019. Other roles include English Support Specialist at Philander Smith College, a Corps Member with City Year, Professional Tutor at Savannah State University, and Creative Writing Teacher at Deep Center, Inc. An internship was completed at Asta Publications, LLC. Larissa's educational background includes a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Science in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership (Literacy) from Oklahoma State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Savannah State University.
