Latif Whitsett

Latif Whitsett is an experienced law enforcement professional with a comprehensive background in various roles within the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office since September 2009, including Patrol Sergeant and former SWAT Alpha Team Leader. Whitsett has served as a Training Adjunct Instructor for the Detention/Uniformed Operations Division, developing and organizing state-accredited training programs. With previous roles as Corporal overseeing task force operations for the Department of Homeland Security and managing the Community Enhancement Unit, Whitsett has demonstrated strong leadership skills. In addition to law enforcement duties, Whitsett is a business owner of RapidGuard-Tulsa, specializing in dignitary protection and security services, and Alpha 1 Tactical LLC, providing training and consulting services to security and law enforcement communities. Whitsett serves as an Adjunct Instructor for Tulsa Technology Center and Goodwill Industries of Tulsa, focusing on security training. Latif Whitsett holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Langston University and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Tulsa Community College.
