Elissa Andrews

Elissa Andrews is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant District Attorney for Tulsa County since May 2022, following a role as a Student Extern at the same office. Prior to this, Elissa completed a Student Externship with the United States Attorneys' Offices. Elissa's background includes roles as a Contract Administrator and Contract Analyst at American Electric Power from April 2006 to March 2013, and positions as Account Manager and Proposal Analyst at WilTel Communications from August 1999 to April 2006. Earlier experience includes working as a Paralegal Specialist in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Elissa holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Tulsa College of Law, as well as a Master of Science (MS) in Mass Communication/Media Studies and dual Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Communication, Journalism, and Political Science from Oklahoma State University.
