Anna Codutti

Anna Codutti currently serves as the Assistant City Editor at Tulsa World Media Company, a position held since August 2010, where collaboration with a team of reporters to develop news stories is a primary focus. Anna was promoted to copy editor in August 2015. Prior experience includes roles as News Editor and Beat Editor at Columbia Missourian, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri, where responsibilities involved teaching Newspaper Editing and basic newspaper design. An internship at The Detroit News provided experience in the copy desk during the summer of 2009. Anna also directed development and fundraising efforts for Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, Missouri from August 2002 to July 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Journalism: News Editing from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication: Journalism with a minor in Art History from Truman State University.
