Tumble
Scott Patterson is the founder and CEO of Tumble. Prior to Tumble, they served as the Operations Chief for the United States Marine Forces Reserve from August 2008 to August 2019. In this role, they consulted with the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, First Sergeant, and Company Gunnery Sergeant to coordinate all company operations of 160 Marines. Scott also utilized their project management skills to create long-range, mid-range, and short-range plans that were used as templates for the rest of the 5 other companies.
During their time with the Marine Forces Reserve, Scott developed and tracked KPIs for training and readiness, acted as the company engagement manager by overseeing training management, product management, documentation, and readiness evaluations, and was responsible for vetting training feasibility, conducting overall risk management, and advising the Company Commander on all things related to operations. Scott was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for their exemplary performance.
Outside of their work with the Marine Forces Reserve, Scott has used their skills to obtain Salesforce Business Analyst Trailhead badges while deployed overseas. Scott is a self-starter who is always looking for ways to improve himself and those around him.
Scott Patterson has a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry from California State University, Chico, and a certification in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician/ General Education from Butte College. Scott also has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute and certifications in Data-Analysis Fundamentals with Excel and Excel Workshop: Working with Real-Time Data from LinkedIn. Finally, they have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
