Xintao Zhang

Senior Scientist at Tune Therapeutics

Xintao Zhang has been working in the scientific field since 2010. Xintao began as a Graduate Research Assistant at Harbin Veterinary Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2010. Xintao then moved to National Engineering Research Center of Veterinary Biologics in 2013, where they held the role of Research Associate. In the same year, they began working as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Minnesota, Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences. Xintao then moved to UNC-CHAPEL HILL, Gene Therapy Center in 2016, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. In 2020, they started working as a Research Associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Xintao is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Tune Therapeutics, a position they have held since 2022.

Xintao Zhang obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Veterinary Preventive Medicine, Epidemiology, and Public Health from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agriculture Sciences between 2010 and 2013. Additionally, in March 2019, Zhang obtained a certification in Hands-On cGMP Biomanufacturing of Vectors for Gene Therapy from the Golden LEAF Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center.
