Neal K. began their career in 2008 as a Substitute Teacher/Special Education Paraprofessional for Madison County Public Schools. In 2013, they moved to The Gramophone as a Talent Buyer/In-House Promoter. In 2014, Neal K. became an Artist Relations Manager for Tunespeak.

Neal K. began their educational journey in 2000 at Alton High School, where they graduated in 2004. Neal then attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in American Government and Politics (United States) in 2008.
